If a Disney Cruise has been on your family’s vacation wish list, it’s time to start planning!
Disney Cruise Line’s Fall 2027 and Spring 2028 itineraries are officially open for booking, bringing an exciting lineup of cruises from New York, Florida, Texas, California, Puerto Rico and Singapore.
There are short Bahamian getaways, weeklong Caribbean vacations, cruises to Bermuda, seasonal sailings from New York, Panama Canal adventures, cruises from Galveston and plenty of opportunities to visit Disney’s beautiful island destinations.
And if you’re hoping to sail during Halloween or Christmas? Those are back, too!
Disney Cruise Line Returns to New York!
One of the biggest announcements for Fall 2027 is the return of Disney Cruise Line to New York City.
The Disney Wish will arrive in New York in late September 2027 for a special series of four- to seven-night cruises.
Five sailings will visit beautiful Bermuda, with select itineraries spending additional time there.
Disney Cruise Line will also return to New England and Canada’s Atlantic coast from New York for the first time in nearly four years.
Imagine combining the magic of a Disney Cruise with the beautiful fall colors of New England and Canada!
More Disney Cruises from Galveston, Texas
For our Texas families, this is especially exciting.
The Disney Magic will return to Galveston following an eastbound Panama Canal sailing and offer four- to seven-night cruises from Texas.
Even better, select seven-night Bahamian cruises from Galveston will visit both Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point AND Disney Castaway Cay.
Two Disney island destinations on one cruise and you can start your vacation without flying to Florida!
For Texas families looking for a Disney vacation that’s a little closer to home, these itineraries are definitely worth a look.
Disney Cruise Line Has Even More Choices from Florida
Florida continues to offer an incredible selection of Disney cruises from both Port Canaveral and Fort Lauderdale.
Disney Destiny
The Disney Destiny will begin the season sailing from Fort Lauderdale before moving to Port Canaveral for the first time in Fall 2027.
Guests can choose from three- to seven-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean.
Disney Wish
After its special New York and San Juan itineraries, the Disney Wish will return to Port Canaveral for three- and four-night Bahamian cruises.
Select itineraries include Disney’s own island destinations, Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
Disney Treasure
Looking for a full week onboard?
The Disney Treasure will continue its popular seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises from Port Canaveral.
There will also be special itineraries, including an eight-night Eastern Caribbean cruise and a six-night Bahamian sailing featuring two visits to Disney Castaway Cay.
Disney Dream
The Disney Dream will begin with three- and four-night Bahamian cruises from Port Canaveral before moving to Fort Lauderdale in November 2027 for three- to five-night Bahamian sailings.
One special six-night itinerary will even visit Disney Castaway Cay twice!
Disney Fantasy
The Disney Fantasy will offer a mix of four- to seven-night cruises from Port Canaveral and Fort Lauderdale to The Bahamas and Caribbean.
There’s also something brand new: an eight-night Bermuda cruise aboard the Disney Fantasy, visiting Bermuda along with both Disney Bahamian island destinations.
Sail from San Diego to Mexico
Disney Cruise Line will have two ships sailing from San Diego in Fall 2027.
Both the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder will begin the season in California with three- to seven-night Baja and Mexican Riviera cruises.
The Disney Wonder will continue sailing from San Diego into Spring 2028, with itineraries that may include destinations such as Ensenada, Cabo San Lucas and Catalina Island.
For West Coast families, these cruises can be a fantastic way to experience Disney without traveling all the way to Florida.
Explore the Caribbean from San Juan
Want to begin your Disney Cruise somewhere tropical?
The Disney Wish and Disney Fantasy will offer additional opportunities to sail from San Juan, Puerto Rico, with five- to seven-night Southern and Eastern Caribbean itineraries.
Starting your cruise in Puerto Rico can open the door to some wonderful Caribbean itineraries and ports that aren’t typically included on shorter cruises departing from Florida.
Sail Through the Panama Canal
Looking for something completely different from the traditional Disney Cruise?
The Disney Magic will offer two 14-night Panama Canal repositioning cruises during Fall 2027 and Spring 2028.
Both cruises will feature a Disney Cruise Line maiden call, with one itinerary visiting Fuerte Amador (Panama City) and the other visiting Colón, Panama.
With 14 nights onboard, these sailings also give Disney Cruise fans plenty of time to enjoy the ship itself—along with a pretty incredible bucket-list journey through the Panama Canal.
Disney Adventure Continues Sailing from Singapore
Disney Cruise Line’s adventures aren’t limited to North America.
The Disney Adventure will continue sailing from Singapore with new three- and four-night itineraries from September through December 2027.
It’s another completely different way to combine a love of Disney with an international vacation.
Halloween on the High Seas Returns for 2027
Love Disney AND Halloween?
Halloween on the High Seas cruises return on select Disney Cruise Line sailings beginning in September 2027.
These special cruises bring a little extra spooky fun onboard, with Disney characters dressed for the occasion, themed entertainment, deck parties, trick-or-treating and seasonal surprises.
These sailings are especially popular with families who love celebrating Halloween at Disney, so planning early is a good idea.
Very Merrytime Cruises Return for the 2027 Holiday Season
If Christmas is more your style, Very Merrytime Cruises will return in November and December 2027.
Disney’s ships transform for the season with beautiful holiday décor, a Christmas tree lighting, festive entertainment, seasonal treats and even visits from Santa.
For families looking for a special way to celebrate the holidays together—or perhaps give an experience instead of more “stuff” for Christmas—a Very Merrytime Cruise can make for some pretty incredible family memories.
Why Book Your 2027 or 2028 Disney Cruise Early?
When Disney releases a new season of cruises, we always encourage families to start looking sooner rather than later—especially if your dates aren’t flexible.
Booking early gives you the best opportunity to find:
- The itinerary you really want
- Your preferred stateroom category
- A stateroom location you love
- Connecting or nearby rooms for families traveling together
- Accommodations that sleep larger families
- Popular school-break and holiday dates
Disney Cruise Line pricing can also change as a sailing fills.
Waiting for a future promotion isn’t necessarily the best strategy, particularly when you need a specific date or stateroom configuration.
We can help you look at the overall value of booking now rather than simply waiting and hoping for a sale later.
Never Sailed Disney Cruise Line Before?
A Disney Cruise isn’t just a theme park vacation that happens to be on a ship.
Disney Cruise Line combines the service and storytelling Disney is known for with a vacation designed for both kids and adults.
Your cruise fare includes Broadway-style entertainment, rotational dining, kids and teen clubs, character experiences, pools and recreation, movies, activities and plenty of opportunities to simply enjoy being together.
And adults aren’t forgotten.
There are adult-exclusive restaurants and lounges, spa experiences and quiet spaces—including Serenity Bay, the adult-exclusive beach area at Disney Castaway Cay.
That balance is one of the reasons Disney Cruise Line works so well for families, couples and multigenerational vacations.
